Okay, their second most reliable “source” is rate my professor. Most of this list is based on rather or not students had fun in their classes.  This is not a best colleges list, it’s a “how much do students like their own school” list.

All schools are less shitty than their reputation. Which is the point of ranking schools, you don’t go to college to learn, you go for the reputation and the class of people.

If you ask me, the class of people you meet through Hofstra coupled with it’s reputation are low, but not nearly as low as the other colleges that are circulating the drain would pay to make it seem.

Most teachers at Hofstra who work at both schools admit hands down Hofstra’s better than Adelphi, but Adelphi is gonna rank higher because it’s better known. It uses its alumni better for PR.

What is nice though, because Hofstra is less concerned with reputation (stemming from shortsighted mafia money coursing through its veins), it instead Hofstra focuses on far more pragmatic matters like useful internship programs and less lofty education standards.
