I look out the window as the landscapes blur into a pastel of dark greens and light oranges, with beautiful streaks of blue and gold. Tendrils of rain wind their way down the glass. I see my reflection in the window and imagine myself with her still, I look into the reflection and see the two of us laughing as we did last spring, before Autumn came and brought with it a move across the country and heartbreak, I look into the reflection of the train’s window and wonder who that dog looking back at me is… because I’m a dog and I don’t understand that my reflection is me arf arf bark bark bark.
