The Croatian Spruce
Elaine goes on a hunt throughout the city for the elusive Croatian Spruce, the kind of Christmas tree she remembers from her childhood. Kramer puts serious effort into trying to remove gum from his block’s sidewalk in order to drive up property values. Similarly, he starts walking through “rival” neighborhoods, surreptitiously spitting gum on their pavement. Jerry can’t figure out why every hot dog shop in the city names itself after the papaya — “Papaya Dog,” “Papaya King,” “Metro Papaya,” etc. George gets hooked into a church celebration where the members in attendance are trying to save him; oblivious, he thinks it’s just a great party.
